In order to provide you and your clients the best possible experience, we have the following policies in place.
1.) The Appointment: All lights must be on, garage doors closed and trash cans put away. Everything you wish to be moved or tidied away must be done prior to our arrival. Due to the nature of our scheduling and the technologies we employ, moving objects or items during the shoot causes issues with both timing, and the finished product. Please be sure the property is ready prior to our arrival. Our insurance doesn’t allow for us to move items in your home as it is deemed a potential danger to us and our equipment, and also to the property.
2.) Cancellation Policy: If you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment, please notify us no later than 24 hours prior to your scheduled appointment. Failure to do this may potentially result in a $50.00 cancellation fee. Changes to appointments (additions or subtractions of services ordered) may potentially result in additional fees. Please be sure your clients are ready in order to avoid this. Cancellations and/or “no shows” within 2 hours of the appointment time will be billed at the full package ordered price.
3.) Payment: Realtors: Payment is expected when your invoice is emailed to you (generally within 48 hours). In order for us to keep our prices affordable, we must be paid in a timely manner. Late payments will result in a $35.00 late fee. Payments after 30 days are considered Past Due.
Home Sellers:Payments being provided by home sellers are required at the time of the shoot. No work will be performed without an accepted payment.
4.) Animals/Pets: ALL animals must be contained at all times during the photo shoot. We never include indoor animals in our shoot and they pose a potential danger to us, and our equipment. Please contain them in a hidden area and keep them contained until we exit the property.
5.) Turn Around Times: Photos are delivered, via Dropbox, within 2 business days, excluding Sundays (barring unforeseen circumstances.) If your appointment is scheduled for Friday, it is possible you may not receive your photos until Monday. We offer a limited amount of rush services which must be ordered in advance. Rush service guarantees still photo delivery the same day as the appointment for an additional fee of $50. Rush services are not available for video or 360 tours. Rush services are available for still photos and 3D tours. Requests for changes to flyers, tours, video, etc are delivered within 2 business days, but generally by the next business day, excluding Sundays (barring unforeseen circumstances.)
6.) Photo Rights and Usage: All photos produced during the scheduled shoot are licensed for use by the Realtor® (or hiring party) for marketing associated with the current sale of the property in accordance with local MLS rules. License for use is granted ONLY to the purchasing REALTOR®, MLS, Realtor.com, Trulia, Zillow and other real estate advertising web sites, for use in the CURRENT sale of the property. All photography is copyrighted by the photographer. ANY usage of the photos by a third party, including but not limited to architects, builders, stagers, designers, sellers or buyers is strictly prohibited unless approved, in writing, by the photographer. Photos produced by Emerald Forest Design and Nevada County Virtual Tours may be transferred to sellers and other REALTORS® with permission, granted on a case by cases basis. Some fees may apply.
